After a huge time investment I discovered using Mainstage with the MA 88, the expression pedal will go 0-127 rapidly. Not so if I use a Yamaha keyboard and mainstage. It’s real important to me to have beautiful layered instruments come in smoothly. My Yamaha board works great with the same setup but MA 88 not so. I tried an alternative Ex. pedal, but does the same. So now I’m looking to find one that has expression input, semi weighted, and if possible the Polyphonic aftertouch too.
