How to download FL Studio 21 for Windows?

It should be mentioned that FL Studio has a free trial version and a paid version.

I find that most people choose to download the former, so this tutorial is focused on download and installing FL Studio in its free trial version. However, later we will mention the features of both versions, so you can choose the one you like.

To download the latest version of FL Studio 21 for Windows, the first thing to do is to go to the official website.

At the end of the article, I leave you the download link, when you already know all the steps to follow.

The link at the end will take you to the FL Studio 21 download page; there you will see its two versions, both for Windows and Mac. As you can see below:

In this case we are interested in downloading FL Studio for PC Windows 8.1 or 10, so we click on the circle with orange arrow and our download will start.

How to install FL Studio 21 on Windows 10?

Now we will open our downloaded file (usually it is saved in the downloads folder) and proceed with the installation.

First an image will appear as you can see below; here it is easy, just follow the typical installation steps (click next).

The next step is to read the license terms and accept them.

Then we select current user only, to install Fl Studio on a single user (ourselves). Click next.

Now FL Studio will give us a list of components that will accompany the installation of the digital audio program.

Mostly, they are plugins and if you do not want to install them you can uncheck them, although my recommendation is to leave them as they are, because some of them will be necessary when you make your music.

In the settings section, there is an option that says migrate previous, which you should check if you have installed an old version of Fl Studio. This will allow you to automatically update the software to the latest version.

Then you will see the path where the program should be installed. You can change it if you want to, but the default path is C:\Program Files Linear Image-Line FL Studio 21.

Now it will show us the path to install the VST plugin in 32 and 64 bits. The route by defect is: C:\Program Files (x86)\VstPlugins and C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST2\ respectively. Subsequently, we click on next.

Finally, the following window shows us everything that will install in our Windows PC. We proceed to click on Install so that the program begins to install.

Once it has finished installing everything, click finish and that’s it! We already have FL Studio 21 installed on our computer.
