How to Download FL Studio for Mac for Free

Finally, after many years of longing, FL Studio 21 for Mac OS X operating system has arrived.

In this quick tutorial, I will guide you through the steps-by-steps to download and install FL Studio 21 on Mac for free.

How to download FL Studio on Mac OS X?

The version we will install on Mac will be FL Studio 21, the latest version at the moment of writing this post.

As you may know, there are two versions of FL Studio, the free trial version and the paid version.

If you are thinking of switching to this DAW and want to try it without paying a single dime, you can download the free version and evaluate it by yourself.

So, this tutorial will focus on downloading and installing the trial version of FL Studio provided for free by Image-Line.

I recommend you to read all the steps to follow, as I will mention some important recommendations to keep in mind during the installation.

As you can see, it is available for both Windows and Mac, click here if you want to download FL Studio in Windows.

Here, we are focus on the second one (Mac OS), click on the circle with the orange arrow and the file will start downloading.

A .dmg file will be downloaded and we will open it to start the installation.

How to install FL Studio on Mac?

We run the downloaded file that will start the installation of the software.

A window will appear asking us if we want to install the program, as Malware prevention, since it is a program that comes outside the Macintosh App Store.

Don’t worry as it is a program downloaded from the official FL Studio website your computer is not at risk. Click continue.

After that we see a window with a welcome message from the installer. Here there is nothing else to do but click continue.

Once this is done, we will click on the button that says install.
To perform this task, your computer will ask you for your administrator username and password to confirm again that you really want to install the application and that you are the person who is trying to install it.

After this step, the program will start installing.
When the installation is finished, just click close and that’s it, FL Studio is installed on Mac.
